I noticed recently that all the branches of Chohung in my area have suddenly morphed into Shinhan Banks. I was in last week to pay my gas bill and nobody said anything or seemed to have any problems with my Chohung bankbook, and I can still withdraw cash, but this week I should have been paid and the money hasn't showed up in my account. It's not impossible that my school made an error, especially as my director is away for a while, but they've always been good about paying on time, so it seems unlikely.

so has anyone else had to deal with this? Do I need a new Shinhan account, or do I need to pester my school?

I was surprised to see a 419 scam mentioning Chohung Bank.
