Contract isn't crap, and I would take any advice you get here with more than a grain of salt, especially the bitter ones......No names but many of the comments made are strewn with contradictions...but no names

So you think this is a good contract Question Laughing Did you write it Question

Its a very poorly written contract at the very least with many clauses that are totally in favor of the school and very few for the teacher. As long as there are people advocating crap contracts people will continue to sign their life away.....the problem with ESL is that the industry is so overrun with crap contracts its almost become the norm!

That's the thing, Grotto. You or I could sign a crappily written contract like this and stare the boss down and say, "What are ya doin?" Other people can't.

Thus: Bad contract.

If other people want to stay on for 2 million because their boss is being easy on them, so be it.

Hey all,
Wherever you are right now, I want to personally thank those of you who posted (and a special thanks to Alabamaman for sending me the PMs...I sent him what you sent me).

I'm planning to throw a big bucket of cold water on my face for not noticing all the things you've pointed out earlier than I read them.

I sincerely hope that your generousity is returned in full for taking the time to help me out. You've stopped me from making an ENORMOUS mistake! Thank you very much.
