Wrong again Bully
To boycott Wikipedia on the grounds merely of who founded & ultimately oversees its content, bias etc. would be fallacious.
Truth is i generally find it to be a reasonably helpful source of "information"; most of it reliable & presumably accurate. However, as always, never to be just passively taken in as "Gospel": line, sinker & hook

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transhumanism
Transhumanism is an international intellectual and cultural movement supporting the use of new sciences and technologies to enhance human physical and cognitive abilities and ameliorate what it regards as harsh and unnecessary aspects of the human condition, such as disease and aging.
Transhumanist academics study the possibilities and consequences of developing and using human enhancement techniques and other emerging technologies for these purposes. Possible dangers, as well as benefits, of powerful new technologies that might radically change the conditions of human life are also of concern to the transhumanist movement.
Transhumanist thinkers postulate that human beings will eventually be transformed into beings with such greatly expanded abilities as to merit the label "posthuman". Transhumanism's vision of a deeply transformed future humanity has attracted many sympathizers, as well as critics from a wide range of perspectives.
Transhumanism has been described by a prominent sympathizer as the "movement that epitomizes the most daring, courageous, imaginative, and idealistic aspirations of humanity," while according to a prominent critic, it is the world's most dangerous idea. (more...) |

Michael Riconosciuto
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Riconosciuto
Michael Riconosciuto from Tacoma, Washington was a player in the Inslaw incident, and has subsequently been incarcerated on unrelated "drug" charges. He is considered by many to be a political prisoner, jailed on trumped up charges to silence his accusations in the Inslaw case.
Riconosciuto claims to be an electronics and computer expert and to have been hired to alter Inslaw's PROMIS software to allow for clandestine tracking of individuals. Riconosciuto claims his knowledge of PROMIS made him a threat to the United States Government, particularly the Justice Department, and that this resulted in his incarceration.
Riconosciuto also claims to have developed the Barometric bomb, also know as the Pineapple bomb. He was interviewed after the Oklahoma city bombing on whether this type of bomb might have been used.
In recent years, Riconosciuto has claimed inside knowledge of terrorist activities, including a claim to have correctly predicted the 9/11 attacks.
Jerry Uhrhammer of the Tacoma Morning News Tribune read his court file and found that psychiatrists who examined him in 1972, prior to his first drug conviction, portrayed him as a mentally unstable person who had trouble discerning between fact and fiction. [1]
Riconsciuto and his father, Marshall Riconosciuto, were close associates of Fred Crisman, which ties him to a long legacy of conspiratorial traditions. |

Absinthe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A reservoir glass filled with a naturally colored vert next to an absinthe spoon.
Absinthe is a distilled, highly alcoholic, anise-flavored spirit derived from herbs including the flowers and leaves of the medicinal plant Artemisia absinthium, also called wormwood.
Although it is sometimes incorrectly called a liqueur, absinthe does not contain added sugar and is therefore classified as a liquor or spirit

Ku Klux Klan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is the name of a number of past and present fraternal organizations in the United States that have advocated white supremacy, anti-"Semitism", anti-Catholicism, and nativism.
These organizations have often promoted the use of terror and extreme violence against African Americans and others. The Klan's first incarnation was in 1866. Founded by veterans of the Confederate Army, its main purpose was to resist Reconstruction, and it focused as much on intimidating "carpetbaggers" and "scalawags" as well as putting down the freed slaves.
It quickly adopted violent methods. A rapid reaction set in, with the Klan's leadership disowning it, and Southern elites seeing the Klan as an excuse for federal troops to continue their activities in the South.
The organization was in decline from 1868 to 1870, and was destroyed in the early 1870s by President Ulysses S. Grant's vigorous action under the Civil Rights Act of 1871 (also known as the Ku Klux Klan Act).
