They certainly do. Went to watch a muay thai fight in a gym last weekend with some friends, this Korean guy sitting near us, lifted one butt cheek and let out the most disgusting, long-lingering fart I have smelled in many a year.
Kids do as well and one of my Korean friends did the first time he came to visit me here!
In my experience of teaching foreigners at home, the Chinese were also frequent farters (must be the noodles).
Gulf Arabs on the other hand have been known to kill themselves because of the shame of letting one rip in public. I had an Arab friend who claimed he couldn't even bring himself to fart when alone. I told him he should learn to enjoy himself more... |
