|
|
Does anyone know if any Korean stations will be broadcasting this game live? I've talked with a few Korean buddies who claim it will ONLY be on at 1:50 or whenever the Italy vs. Czech game finishes up. I find this hard to believe with 2198092849 channels but perhaps it's true.
In the even that this is the case, does anyone know of any bars in Itaewon that might be streaming the game live via the internet? Both games are at 11:00 tonight.
Thanks all in advance. |

Alright.
Well, it looks like the game will be broadcast 1st on KBS 2 at 12:40, a good hour and 40 minutes after the game starts.
For some awesome reason all three Korean stations KBS, MBC, EBS (I think) are playing the Italy Czech game live and KBS 2, which is NOT showing the Italy game will be the 1st to relay the game at 12:40. The other networks will join in the fun at 1:20 and 1:50 respectively.
Wonderful programming move guys! |

uh... we live in the Internet age guys
let's reserve our sarcasm for those who expect competitive private t.v. stations to buck the wishes of 99% of the polulace (feel free to complain to AFN for not showing its military its nation's soccer heroes)
pay a paltry $3 for a month's membership and join me in watching full English coverage of every World Cup game at www.streamtvnow.tv

I did join streamtv and it's balls on a mac.
I use it at work (or I did while the NBA finals were on) on a PC and was decently happy with the quality, would recommend for anyone using a PC.
Mac users are left with few options (or maybe it's my 4 year old powerbook)...

I feel like I am watching Super Bowl XLax...
Bullshit... Both going for the ball, his hands out from his sides... NO contact.... but they get a penalty kick.... and score. |

Well, there's no way the US scores two goals in the second...
I am a firm believer, after the SB and watching all the very, very strange ref decisions in critical games in a variety of sports....
The fix is in. How can it not be? It always is where billions are involved. |

This is why I cant get into soccer. Too much cheating and BS. This is indefensible. The US defender didnt even touch him at all. |

It's part of the game and unfortunately it can't really be helped. Human error and all that. |

Human error i can handle. Blatant cheating over and over that decides outcomes is ridiculous. |

These things usually even each other out and the best team usually comes away with the cup. However, it does create villains for people to hate, which adds to the drama of the World Cup. Where would it be with the cheating Argies and the diving Wops? Alot poorer I would suggest. |

Ghana are a more entertaining, skillful and athletic team than the Americans.
I for one am glad to see the back of team USA. They should stick to sports where they can hide behind padding and bounce off each other in short bursts before breaking for commercials every 10 seconds. |
