Hermes.Tuberculosis or what ever you name is, where you watching? Nasty brutish game to watch, but that famous Aussie fighting spirit got them thru. Comiserations to the US team tonight, played well and maybe didn't deserve to lose, draw would have been fair, but hats off to Ghana as well, by far the most entertaining package of this WC. Good luck to Korea tonight, but I am pulling for the Swiss. Now all I want to see is England romp over Ecuador, Australia snatch a win off the Italians and Ronaldinho to break a leg.

hiddink vs the italians again...nice. hopefully australia kicks that crap out of italy.

please no diving italy (haha..like that will ever happen..they're on the ground more than anyone in the WC).

Hopefully, Totti will be sent off and Australia will win as a result of two very dubious goals.

Guys ......What did you think of the ref's call in this Game . I honestly thought he could have done a HELL of a LOT better ...... What's with Letting that guy stay on the field after the Second Yellow card ...... Shocked

He was only given this marching orders after his 3RD YELLOW card Evil or Very Mad ... Seriously this ref needs to go back to school to learn about the game is played

Now, if Korea fails to make the round of 16, you know that Hiddink will be courted to return to Korea for the next World Cup, and with a very generous offer in the seven figure range, easily.

Won't happen.. the Russians already inked inked him to coach them with a VERY generous salary..

Besides, Hiddink is too smart to ever come back to Korea..

Aussie Aussie Aussie!!!!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!! What an intense game!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the reffing decisions were dubious.

Harry is a champ. Hiddink should dump Kalac and bring back Schwartzer for the Italy game.

Cmon Aussie, cmon!!! We've been waiting 32 years for this!!!

Mr Poll is the best ref in the EPL and had a reasonable time controlling what was by far the hardest game so far. The amount of fouls and silly buggers being played (mainly by the Croats) meant that it was always going to be a difficult game to officiate. I think in the end justice was served and the right team got the result they needed.

Delighted to see Australia go forward: great team to watch, no theatricals, football as it used to be ..... I hope they can keep it that way. Well done.

Now, tonight, cheering for Korea.

If by hoik-it-up-the-middle Aussie Rules style with plenty of rugby-style thuggery, then yes. Last night they ran into perhaps the only other team (wait, there's the Italians) who are just as brutal. I personally hope we can go out and kick large lumps out of the Eyeties and come out on top.

I totally agree ---- But I am an Aussie, so I am always going to enjoy watching them play.

I understand that , But seriously some of his mistakes I am use to seeing them at my brothers local games.

Tell me how someone can get 2 yellows and still stay on the pitch. That must be 1 for the record books surely.
