I've been turned down via email by a job I applied for in Cheju. They were really nice about it. "Thank you for your interest in our school. We have decided to to pursue other applicants. Best wishes with your job search in Korea"

I thought it was pretty nice. Did it sting? Maybe a little... very little. I got over it rather quickly and found a great job with no trouble.
It's nice when an employer at least acknowledges they aren't going to consider you in a tactful way.

I've said it before Princess and I will say it again.
You sound like an absolute delight.
I really do hope you find the job you deserve.

4 years experience in Korea is like 4 years experience at McDonalds....great if you are going to stay there but pretty much worthless anywhere else Laughing

Nice, Grotty...taunting the noobs on Dave's. Maybe your avatar should be a troll, not a dwarf. Maybe you should stick to taking pictures of your student's underwear...DID happen in actual fact.

She doesn't need consolation she needs a slap Rolling Eyes The school was good enough to let her know that she wasn't good enough for their school and she whines about the letter! With her experience you'de think she'd be able to get a good job...hmmm....sometimes I think Princess posts nothin' but troll bait!!!
She's probably a 400lb man who's been confined to his house in Wisconsin because of his weight playin' us all Wink

I got rejected by a Kuwaiti princess (not really a princess, but...) once. It didn't feel so bad. Then I got rejected by a homely girl at a party. That didn't feel so bad, but it felt worse.

I just got a NICE rejection letter today. Not that it makes me feel any better. Something along the lines of " We interviewed a few top candidates and you were obviously one of them. I am sorry to say we went with another candidate. I'm sure you'll have no trouble securing a job in Korea. You sound like a great person and good luck...blah, blah, blah... I guess I am not great enough, huh? They probably just found someone already in Korea. They don't need to worry. I'll NEVER apply for their ridiculous school again!!!!!!!!!! This is how I am treated after 4 years of experience?????

How unfortunate.
