Yes, not only that but she's quoted Hilter. That puts her in a category all by herself.
I'm beginning to think Patchy is nothing more then a burnt Kyopo that has nothing better to do then vent frustrations because she can't get a job teaching English due to her skin color.
While I personally disagree with how some companies treat them, it certainly isn't my fault, nor anyone else's on this board.
Maybe it's time to turn your energies elsewhere and stop harassing other people to make yourself feel good. |
Quoting David Duke? Big deal. I quoted him about the situation in Palestine. He has quite a reasonable position on it. More reasonable than some of the people who strive to be seen as politically correct all the time on everything. Those people are so focused on what the 'fashionable stand' is on political issues they've forgotten how to think for themselves. They don't see the forest for the trees and hence they focus on David Duke's past and don't see how correct he is on issues like Palestine. While they don't care if their president supports a mass murderer like Sharon.
Here's the thread: Rise Up!
And you should be honest about yourselves: you are just as racist towards Asians as David Duke is about blacks - why not face up to it instead of burying things under the rug? Remember no subject is taboo. Everybody is racist to a certain extent .... you are just acting like PC hypocrites who don't want to confront the problems and pretend they don't exist.
So until you're ready to talk about your racism, I will quote whomever I like and make no apologies for it. If David Duke is spouting off about leftists and communists whom he dislikes intensely I will criticize him on that if somebody brings it up. And frankly Bush is the bigger racist than David Duke and he's the president of many of you here.
Did I quote Hitler? I don't think so. He had a problem with Communists as well. Zionists have a problem with Communists. I don't like fascists of either stripe: Zionists or Nazis, and it's harder to say whom I dislike more: the Zionists or the Nazis.
Does that answer your question?
How about you answer mine? Why are you so afraid to talk about your racism against Koreans? Why are you working in a country that's full of Koreans if you don't like them? Shouldn't you be back in Canada, the USA etc if those countries are superior, hmmmm? And where you're a majority there too? And a citizen of those coutnries?
I'm a member of the majority race here, I have family ties here so it's obvious why I gravitate to this country, but most of you don't. Instead of feeling antagonistic to the people all the time and expecting them to change to accommodate you, shouldn't you change yourselves or go back home where you don't have to change to fit in with another majority? The white supremacy thing is old: global economics and political realities are changing fast - there is less respect toward the 'white man (or woman)' than there used to be. You can't expect any better treatment than what you're getting at the moment. I mean what is the alternative? The respect that you get as a gas station attendant, fast food restaurant employee back home?
You're not here to change Korean society, you're here to do a job. If you don't like the job or the country, you are frankly wasting your life and time and you should really leave, for your sake and the Korean people's sake.
Writing 'essays' and pretending they're your students' is pretty sick and is a sign you need to leave. You are just causing mayhem and stirring the pot. One day you will be caught out in a lie when you go too far and the consequences could be very bad for you. Admit you're not cut out for the job and go home and make a future there. For most people, there is no future in Korea, you are just wasting your lives, and becoming very unhappy. You are turning into ugly little racists the longer you stay here and are unhappy and unfulfilled here. Eventually, the Koreans will wake up and realize this and there will be a backlash and a big clean-out. You might as well make preparations now to leave so you're not caught out when they make these changes. |

First of all, I never said I dislike Koreans. Second, I have just as many ties to this country as you do. You assume that all native teacher out to make money and get laid. Well, your wrong.
What I DISLIKE is people who lie. That is why I got behind the idea of asking the union to retract their statement, because it was dishonest. Making generalizations about any race or group of people is wrong. Their statement makes to appear ALL native speakers are nothing more then irresponsible sex addicts.
Why don't you try having an honest conversation with someone rather then being nothing more then a instagator. |

You show in every way that you do not like or respect Koreans. And yet you think they should like and respect YOU. I hate to break it to you but it works both ways, coming on to a thread and harassing a poster by telling them they are not allowed to post on it because they don't agree with you 100% is the behavior of some immature person who cannot handle a debate and an adult discussion on issues. And when your ad hominem attacks got you nowhere including your racist attacks on my person and on Koreans in general, you then tried to get the mods to throw me off, appealing to their racism: oh let's gang up on patchy who's a minority here. So don't complain about not being able to have an 'honest conversation', you never even bothered because you knew I was right on many points and you could not refute me on them. |

I don't believe I've seen you being right on a single fact ever on this board. I myself have corrected many of your incorrect facts and outright lies, and I've seen many other posters catch you out posting incorrect facts so many times it is ridiculous.
All I've seen from you is a person who doesn't know what a debate is, can't follow an argument, doesn't know what a fact is, and who contradicts himself every second sentence. You've been embarrassed on here so profoundly by so many posters it's just farcical.
You once wrote a post directed at me, which contained the phrase "you are a racist" five times, and also the phrase "you are a white supremist" once ( but when called on it in another thread you went back and edited your post to delete the white supremist quote ). In that post you were definitely attacking me and using "white supremist" as a derogatory insult, ie a bad thing. Yet you link to David Duke, a well known white supremist, because you feel he supports your racists views. In this case you are saying that being a white supremist is a good thing. In the world of grown ups, which you are yet to enter, this is called a contradiction.
You also go on and on and on about how esl teachers use drugs and must be cleaned out. In fact very few esl teachers take drugs, but this is not my point here. In this case you are saying that taking drugs is a bad thing. Yet you link to Lenni Brenner because he wrote a racist book that supports your sick demented vision of the world. Lenni Brenner is a criminal who spent time behind bars for cannabis possession and organised the Committee for Narcotic Reform in Berkley. By linking to him you are suggesting that being a drug addict is a good thing, but only if you write racist books. If you're an esl teacher drugs are bad. Another contradiction. And when confronted with this glaring contradiction you came up with your most ridiculous statement ever ( quite a big feat considering the absurd nature of your output ). You stated that, and I quote loosely from memory "If you're already intelligent ( like Lenni Brenner ) then you can smoke cannabis and it's good for you, but if you're not intelligent ( like all esl teachers ) then it is absolutely disasterous. Thus, if you write racist books it's fine to smoke cannabis, and even deal drugs, and it's even ok that you are a criminal who has been behind bars, but if you are an esl teacher then you automatically do take drugs and it is definitely bad for you and makes you a bad teacher and you need to be cleaned from the system. After this I realised you were completely and utterly insane, mentally unstable, and completely without any intellectual facilities whatsoever, and I stopped reading most of your posts, especially the long cut and paste ones.
You are so consumed with rage and self loathing that you are unable to think or even to accurately perceive the world of reality around you. You hate yourself for being so pathetically impotent in the world, for not belonging anywhere, for being insignificant and inferior. You turn this self loathing outward and project in on others, that is why you see racism in everyone, because that is what you are at the core, a seething cauldron of racial hatred. That is why you find solace in the company of white supremists, kkk members, hate criminals, holocaust deniers, drug dealers, and other underworld scum on the far far radical extremist fringes of society. You see no contradiction in the fact that your white supremist hero's see you as asian scum also. As long as someone promotes racial hatred you will support them because that is central to your identity. You are mentally deficient, emotionally crippled, morally repulsive, and socially isolated. You are a tragic figure, and like the kid in the playground who insisted on trying to hang out with the cool people even though they abused him constantly and mercilessly, you have come to plague us here at daves because you can only identify who you are in opposition to something else. Without people to dump huge great steaming piles of distain on your pathetic caricature of a life you don't even exist. You are the classic profile of a dissenfranchised outsider, a loner, a loser, no social skills, no hope, no future, and absolutely ripe for recruitment as a potential hate criminal.
You are, quite simply, human detritus... |

No, what we were asking you to do is not hijack the thread. You are the one that ended up taking the thread from being about Native Speakers asking for a retraction of the KTU, to being about every subject under the sun, including how Jewish people are ruling the world. That is dishonest.
All we were asking is to be left alone to figure a way to do the activity that we wanted to do. You decided you wanted to pick a fight. So, be honest about that much. It was you that started this. Maybe it is you that should go back and read the "Rise Up" thread.
I know that many Korean people don't feel that way English teachers. However the news is VERY biased. If you watch the news cycle, about two or three times a year there is a story about something a native speaker did.
What I'm saying, and your NOT hearing, is making generalizations about ANY group is bad.
I'm not going to bother to respond anymore. Your just not worth talking to.

writing lesson.
I teach an advanced 6th grade class. I have been teaching them how to write 5 paragraph essays. Reviewing them today almost made my eyes water. I am so proud of my babies the way they write and the way they have learned to express their opinions. For that, I shall show you guys two essays from my babies:
***Note*** This is without me correcting them***Note***
6th Grade Girl
When a foreigners walk on streets korean people whisper some things, pointing at them, and even try to talk to them! These actions make foreigners fell that they are strange. Well, they are not animals to us. Korea is not a Xenophic Nation because we learn different languages, are excitied about foreigners, and we are not like the old days.
We learn langueges because we want to contact with outsiders. If Korea was Xenophobic Nation do you think we would learn english? If we are Xenophobic why would we learn english when we can stay together and live without foreigners. In english Acadamy, they hire foreigners to teach. Many foreign teachers say that we treat them differently. Well it is true that we treat them different because we like them. When people are close each other they can be rude and disrespectful to others.
At streets Korean do some weired things when they see foreigners. Foreigners fell very uncomfortable with these actions. Foreigners have to understand Korean because Korean people is only doin this because they want to show their English talent or feel different and they are not used to foreigners. Korean Nation don't hate foreigners, theya re trying to be in the new world.
Hundreds of years ago, Korea was attacked by many other countries, Japan, China, ......etc. Because we were one of the weakest countries, we started hate outsiders and liked pure-blood. These were the old days. Now these days, Korea try to contact with other countries because education, a new life, and technology. There is Korean people all over the place. If we dont like foreigners to cdome why are korean people go to the other country where we become a foreigner.
Many people think Korea is a Xenophobic Nation. Korea act like they don't like the outsiders because we had very bad memories that we can't forget with outsiders. Still we are trying to get use to the different wolrd where all the different people become one.
6th Grade Boy
Is Korea a Xenophobic Nation? Well, this question is kind of hard to be answered as yes or no. If it has to be, answer would be yes. In opinion of mine, Koreans are in the situation between these, but more close to xenophobic. They are kind of afriad and don't like foreigners to be in their country. However, at the same time, there are fe Koerans who like foreigners and are interested in them. Now, because of these Koreans who don't like foreigners, many foreigners are getting mad about Koreans.
In one of the education center called yung-uh-maul (English Village), there was an incident that one of the teachers in that academy had touched the kinds in improper way. With this incident, KTU (Korean Teachers & Educational Worker's Union) is saying that this happened because of the foreigner teachers because they were drunk and did improer thing. However, people who really did this bad thing were two Korean teachers, who were teaching in English Village. Even though these were figured out, KTU are blaming foreigners for this criminal. Well, if these were really happened from foreigners, it would've been really a big thing to argue about.
Another reason that Koreans are xenophobic is basically because of what government is planning. They are planning that in 2010, every subject should be taught from foreigners. This is bad and good at a same time. It's bad because not many Kroeans can learn Korean that properly as we did right now. The good thing is that they can give us more good education than what Koreans can do. Some of the things what Korean teachers tell you are bunch of craps that you don't have to listen to. Some of the things that korean teachers tell you can't be called education sometimes. All they tell you is, "hate Japan, they are bunch of criminals. Dokdo is our land. You must fight for it." Well, they are not really teaching how to think, but just react without thinking. Just like Hitler who knew to control and control people. That's how he controlled all the Germans and every leaders do know how to think and know that some of the peopel are stupid. That's how they make people only feel and get fear from it and just react. Koreans are kind of afraid of foreigners will take a job away from them.
Thirdly, Koeran think "pure blood" is very important thing. Even though Koreans say, "pure blood is very important", they don't ask them a question "why?" That's what we call "you have an answer, but not the question". Just naturally, we have learnt like that. As we have learnt that Dokdo is are land, strongly, we also have heard that pure blood is very important. Howver, did we learn why it is important, and whit is it our land? All they did was forcing us to believe the facts they give us, and feel it with just reacting it without thinking.
As a conclusion, I think Koreans are kind of xenophobic nation because they blame all the bad things to foreigners, afraid of foreigners who are smarter than them and taking their job away, and they think pure blood is very important thing.
I am so proud of them to be able to have their own opinions and effectively express them. |
Looks like a bunch of cut and paste from the internet to me.
Sorry. |

| OP - I think these students did an admirable job of writing good critiques of a very difficult and controversial statement. It is difficult for a Korean to debate, but common knowledge to any foreigner who has been in Korea more than two weeks. Well done to them, if it is their own work like rocklee rightly questioned. |

I completely understand the questioning; not every 6th grader in this country can write in English like that. I have no problems with people questioning me. As I stated before, to prove my credibility, I will try to find a scanner at my school, scan the essays, then post them here for all to see.
Speaking with my good friend today, he asked me, "if you go through all of that trouble, someone on Dave's will just say you wrote it then had it scanned". While this may be true, I still have faith that many of you that doubt me will see that I didn't write it. I only hope I can find a scanner in my school. If I can't, then I do apologize in advance that I cannot prove it to you. |

Cubanlord, just face it, you're a fraud. You shouldn't even be posing as an English teacher. You can't even spell simple words such as "pity" - you spell it "pitty". You're not even sure how to spell "peruse". You give foreign teachers a bad name and the more you cover up, the more everyone can see what a cheap little trickster you are, and sanctimoniously oily to boot.
Yeah, go and "prove" it - you think we're suckers here or something????? Like those hagwon owners who cannot speak "Englisheee" (as you like to make fun of these people)?
Sell us another one. You might as well scan a handwritten "confession" that proves that that myspace.com site you put up in your signature before is actually "patchy1's" .....
Sore I flushed you out??? Don't worry, you still have some losers here who will die before they admit you're a fraud .... guess they don't want to lose face LOL.
And next time you try and pull off a similar scam, don't try and put deliberate mistakes in there. Your own natural mistakes are enough - we have all seen you have trouble with literacy ... and great site you've linked to in your signature - maybe you should spend some time studying it yourself, it could improve your grammar, and your English overall. God knows you need all the help you can get with your English. |

Ummm....Patchy. When you criticize someone for a spelling mistake, making a spelling mistake yourself makes you look like a total moron. Apparently after reading the verbal diarrhea (or diarrhoea if you wish) you post though, you don't seem to have a problem with that. |
