This theory is probably 'out there' and I probably shouldn't post it for being labelled weirder than I am...
...but as the HAARP stuff was taking shape, there was also a lot of work being done on large-scale holograms.
... and also the concerns over contrails was peaking and material falling from them was being analyzed as metallic with web like dispersal.
I'm wondering, if the HAARP could be used to hit an area that was covered by the fallout from the contrails, create a temperature inversion in the atmosphere over an area, which could then be used as a reflective mirror to project a ground-based hologram on. There was talk of using holograms to project big pictures of Mohammed, for instance, saying, "Lay down your guns" and so forth.
In other words, the mirror would be generated just like a mirage in the desert (or on a highway in summer) but several hundred feet off the ground.

Who would get to play Mohammed?
I've never heard of this technology before, but it's one of those things that leaves me mind boggled. Shoot stuff at the atmosphere to find things underground?????
Clearly these people are better educated than me. I still know everything though.

A Naval Intelligence friend once told me about CIA experiments to control roaches (for technical surveillance purposes).
Wire them up for remote control.
I never decided whether he was telling the truth or yanking my chain (we were at a bar after all)... |

I don't know about the CIA but I've read about that in a pop science magazine, can't remember which one. Remote controlled roaches, also artificial ones, would be a great way to "bug" foreign military headquarters.
Actually, the bad guys used a remote controlled roach to spy on the president in The Fifth Element, and also there was an X-Files episode where aliens sent artificial roaches to check out Earth. They are seen as much simpler to build than other kinds of AI like artificial humans. |
