I start a job in a couple of weeks close to Indeokwon subway station and was wondering if there is anyone else living in the area and if so what it's like.

I spend a day a week in Bomgye and pyochon for Korean lessons (not sure of the spelling) and it's really nice in that area. You 1 and 2 stops from their. It's not a very bust area, but it's nice.

Well, there are a lot of business clubs near the station. Tons of old ladies walking the back streets. Very few young girls. And there was ALWAYS puke on the Kwanyang-dong overpass! Shocked

haha... my cougar ex-girlfriend goes clubbing there at one of those booking clubs. I went there lots with her. I gotta say, out of all the booking clubs i've been to, that would be the best. Classical bad music, but everyone's over 35, 'cept for a handful of 30 year old young birds, so it actually feels like an 80's club! haha.... If not for my girl, i guess i could've got a LOT of tail there. Come to think of it.... guys range from 30-50 at that place...... girls from about 27-45.

I live in Beomgye, both are districts in Anyang city. Beomgye is pretty nice.

A booking club is like a night club, with the twist that any man can have any woman brought over to his table/private room.

The basement of the big department store next to Beomgye station is the only place in Korea where I've found Beard Papas (delicious Japanese cream puff chain) so it gets a thumbs up from me.
