Anyone purchased a wedding dress in Korea??? Is that doable for someone who doesn't speak too much Korean? How are the styles? (I don't think size will be a problem.) How do the prices compare to those in the U.S.?
Thanks^^ |

| Order one online--most Koreans rent their gowns for the ceremony and photo-op. |

I asked my boss some similar questions a couple of weeks ago. She said that most Koreans who want western-style dresses rent instead of buying (apparently you can rent wedding dresses at wedding halls) and that the few who *did* buy generally went for top-of-the-line brands. Her recommendation was to spend summer vacation shopping in N. America or buy online and have it shipped here.
<Added> Just found this site, which ships internationally. Prices are so low that I have a hard time believing they're for real, but ... http://www.weddinggowndress.com/ |

I had my wedding dress shipped over from New York.
When you do that, remember customs will charge you an extra 25% or so custom duties.
My gown ended up costing over 1000 dollars. |
