Okay, so I know I CAN buy them, but WHERE can I buy them?
And do they work with all phones?
Thanks! |
Pre-paid international phone cards you can buy in any Family Mart store. Usually safe bet is SK telecom card which is OK for US/Canada. 10,000won and you can talk for hours. I suggest calling from a regular phone / public phone because its cheaper than cell phone (free number, 080, so...the company pays the bill so they charge you more).
Best card though I bought was Tiger (red color) card from Kore Telecom which I bought near Korea university. But not highly awailable.
And pre-paid public phone cards can also be bought at any convenience shop like Family Mart, buy the way, etc. So buy 3000 won one and pre-paid international and you all all set - use 3000 won one to use the actual public phone (you have to have a card but it wont be charged) and then pre-paid to call home. |
