my brother wants me to get a korean soccer jersey for his son.
only thing is, i don't know how to translate sizes - he wears a size 7 or 8 in children's sizes back home. what would that be in the weird korean sizing? |

OK.
Most clothes for children go by their age size. So size 7 = age 7. Remember, though, that this is Korean age, so age 7 = really about age 5.
If they go by other numbers, here's what they are:
70 = newborn up to 1 year
80 = 1-2
90 = 2-3
100 = 3-4
110 = 4
120 = 5
130 = 6
140 = 7
150 = 8
Just to put things into perspectives, Letty, aged 19 months, wears size 100.
Which means that for your 7-8 western sized child, you are looking at minimum a size 160 if they have it. Otherwise, may be a woman size small (55)...... |

| To me, 55 for a woman is not small. I wear 40-44 and it's so hard to find. Which proves, Korean women are not ALL so small. Someone once told me that maybe the korean women are buying all the small sizes out before I go in the store. I don't think so. |
