Did a search but couldn't find a recommendation for a good one in Bundang. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or, does anyone recommend a Seoul dentist highly enough to warrant the trips to and fro?

Thanks all.

Top notch guy, educated in the USA, PhD in dentistry, speaks good English, and is a really nice guy too--he won't BS you and will always tell you what your options are. He's got enough money (and the ethics) that he doesn't need to rip anyone off. Understands the usefulness of Novocaine. Dr Kim is equal to/surpasses the best of western dentistry. I miss him!

He's at Seolleung station which is easily accessible from Bundang.

Dr Kim's Dental Clinic
889-5, Daechi-Dong, Kangnam-Ku, Champs-Elysees Center A-3rd floor

Tel: 563-9860/9861

If I remember correctly, take exit 1 at Seolleung station, upon exiting, the Champs-Elysees centre is immediately to your left.
You may want to call to confirm the exit # though.

I found a good, cheap dentist near janhanphyeong station. He won't overcharge you and his rates were way cheaper than anywhere else I tried.
I got my wisdom teeth pulled for 20k and my old amlagam filings replaced with porcelin ones for just 50k each.

His name is Rhee Jong Hoon. He's out of exit 4 (I think) station of janghanpyeong station. Head back towards gunja station for a block and you'll see a big clothing store. His office is on the 3rd floor. His staff don't speak english, but he does.

20K, as in 20,000won? Do you have insurance that makes it cheaper or is that a normal going rate? I have heard that dentistry is cheaper here and I was told back home that to get my wisdom teeth out I'd be paying at least $2000NZ for all four of them = why I have been postponing yanking them out for ages!

This is a good point. Does anyone know if the standard insurance we get from the public schools help us with this kind of stuff? I was under the impression it doesn't.

P.S. Karma, Tibby. Karma.

P.P.S Thanks for the help, all.

Yup my wisdom teeth cost my 20,000won to get pulled (actually I think it was less). The visit was covered by my standard public school insurance plan which made it very cheap.
