Why Iraq?

For many reasons. Let's not talk falsely.

We aren't at war with Afghanistan. Afghanistan only provided a platform for Al Queda.

We are at war with Islam. Let's face it. The terrorists on the plane were Saudi and Egyptiian. We can't go to war with Saudi Arabia or Egypt. Why? They have oil.

But we can go to war with Iraq and kill many birds with one stone.

For instance, Iraq has a lot of oil. If we can take their oil fields, then this cuts down on the power of Saudi Arabia. They can no longer control the price of a barrel. That's good. Very good.

Iraq gives us a base to look in on Syria and Iran. That's also very good.

Furthermore, Iraq is a great country to invade because they are secular. The terrorists aren't Iraqi. They are Muslim perverts from the other Muslim pervert nations.

What's Bush's stake in this? If he can turn Iraq into a democracy, he'll go down as one of the greatest presidents ever. If he can't, he'll be another Jimmy Carter failure.

Odds?

Iraq wil turn around and become a democracy. Why? The U.S. has no other choice. This isn't Vietnam. If we leave, Iraq will become another theocracy in the same vein as Iran.

We can't let that happen.

Prediction? Iraq will become another South Korea. We will have a presence there for the next fifty years. We broke it, and we bought it.

Who knows. In ten or twenty years, some of you dudes may be over there teaching the locals English for a few bucks.

You're wrong and here's why:

1. Yes many of the terrorists are foriegners but Arabs are proud people and will never allow the US to stay there. So even if you kill all the foriegn jihadists the Shiite militia's will take over and kill Americans.

2. Vietnam is a resonable comparison in that the Vietnamese had Soviet and Chinese support, Iraq Shiites have the support of the Iran and Foriegn jihadists have the support of much of the Muslim world.

3. South Korea was put under the control of military and civilian dictators from 1945 until 1992ish. The US can't install a leader in Iraq because they will look like hypocrites thus they have to allow democracy. If they allow open and free votes we will see Iraqi's go they way of Palestine by electing armed militia men.

1. Yes Egypt has oil but it is 100% insignificant to the American economy. Egyptian oil is just a microcosm (sic) in a drop in the ocean.

2. Syria is slightly more powerful than micronesia.

3. If Iraq is secular, I'm as religious as they come.

4. What exactly is a muslim pervert nation?

You sir must be a troll.
