Tough one.. I've never been to Fiji myself either.

Another place to consider should be Hawaii. From Korea, its only 550,000 won before tax using Northwest Airlines before June 29th. (Not sure the cost after that). Anyways.. just something else to add into the mix!

Royal Grove Hotel has nice rooms with a private balcony, kitchen, etc. right on Waikiki Beach for $65/day. Waikiki is incredible.

trying to decide whether to go to fiji or Boracay on my honeymoon. i know lots of people who have been to Boracay, but no one who has been to fiji... any first hand accounts on fiji would be greatly appreciated... especially on how much things cost. thanx in advance

Fiji is tough to get to from here. Also, there are tensions between the government and the Fiji military Forces. You should exercise caution and avoid political rallies and demonstrations. You may get caught in a coup.

On the plus side, the diving is great. I haven't been there in the last 10 years or so. The airport was at Nadi and then you take a car/boat combination to get to your destination.

Boracay it pretty cool as a destination for a honeymoon. You can choose either a romantic and secluded resort on the back side of the island or something more lively on white beach.
