As I know, most Koreans; and us others succumbing to the general work schedule; have the end of July / first week of August off for Summer vacation.
Curious to hear what you all are planning to do with your holiday. Return home to show mom & dad your hanbok? Cleaning behind your kitchenettes? Off to Angkor Wat? Elephant trekking in Thailand? A "palm-tree holiday in Jeju? Or?
I'm going Thailand for a week, spending a few baht to rebuild post Tsunami paradise and sip some coladas . God knows I need this trip. Anyone else going down there first week of August? What the rest of you up to? |

My plans are to move back to the States. Getting a library card is one of the first items on my agenda.
Yes, seriously, those are my vacation plans...my flight leaves on the first day of summer vacation. |

One month in USA.
A few days in San Diego then either we will drive from there to see her family in Nashville and back or from there to Vancouver (seeing her family in LA and my friends in SFO) and back.
Nashville's OK, but I quite fancy Vancouver. Beer. Can you still smoke in bars in Canada? Can you drink outside in Canada? Do you have pavement cafes? |

We have patios that people can smoke in at some establishments. Smoking inside is banned but some places allow it.
BUT still Vancouver is tops in my book.
Have a safe and happy summer all.
