Deschutte's Microbrewery in Oregon make a yearly ale called Jubelaile that is out of this world. It's a nice malty beer with enough hops to knock you out after three of them. If you can find a pub with it on tap, you're in heaven.

Deschuttes has many many excellent beers. The black Butte Porter and the Mirror Pond Ale are excellent.
Another Oregon beer worth seeking out is Mcminnamins Ruby. This is only on tap I believe. But they will fill up a jar for to-go orders.

Eamo,

The "Once in a Blue Moon" has pints of Guinness on tap "without a hint of bitterness" with all that creamy, richness that mom used to make.

Where is Platinum Brewery? I was very under whelmed with the microbrewery at COEX food court on the first floor (ground level) when it first started a year back.

I actually kinda want to have a real Irishman taste the Guinness on tap at the afore mentioned place, and give it the official approval because I'm kinda curious how they can import a liquid, draft beer, without it going bad on the ship ride over.

I promise to test out their Guinness for you in the near future. Laughing

Platinum Brewery have 3 locations in Seoul I think......Gangnam Station, Exit No. 8 is one. There's another in Apgujeong. There's an all-you-can-eat-and-drink option which is really worth checking out.

The best tasting beer I have ever had, most likely is this one....I'll give it another 5 minutes, and then, most likely, it will be the next one...

So is Mc Mennamin's Terminator Stout. Actually, next time you're there order a Rubinator it's like 75% Terminator and 25% Ruby. Ruby is made with pink grapefruit so the sweet flavor works with the stout.

Again, not to spoil the fun, but the thread is supposed to be about your best beer tasting experience. Don't just post I like so-and-so beer.

OR I WILL MURDER YOU.

That is all.
