I don't think the guy would have got into so much trouble if he had asked the foreperson on the jury for a hand instead of the foreman. This is Oklahoma, you know.

Some say the real problem was that he had a big head. He was just too c*cky during the procedings.

People are being hard on the judge. He was hard up and needed someone to lend a hand.

Even though he was right-handed, man-o-man could that judge pound that gavel with his left hand.

It was, as it were, one of the first clues something was awry.
