Do any of the many countries that touch the Indian Ocean get all pissy over the name like Koreans do with the Sea of Japan? Pakistan perhaps?

Tangentially related, the Iranians and the Arab countries around 'The Gulf' have squabbled for decades over whether 'The Gulf' is 'The Persian Gulf' or 'The Arabian Gulf'. As a result, most American media simply call it 'The Gulf'. I humbly submit that it be called 'The Ya-ta Boy Gulf' and be done with it.

The "Republic of China" can get pretty pissy sometimes. I asked a Taiwanese guy once if he was Chinese (because he was talking a lot about Chinese politics) and he still hasn't forgiven me, a year later.
