i have been teaching in k-land for about 2 months now and have a question

after 1 year of teaching at a hagwon, with a good reference at the end of it, what are your chances of getting a job at a uni? i applied for a few before i came here and had a couple of phone interviews but the whole experiance aspect let me down. Am just curious as to how easy it will be, the holidays are the major drawcard obviously.

cheers

It doesn't hurt to try.

-Go to the English Department of universities and colleges of your liking. With your resume, ask to see someone of importance, if you can.

-With your hogwon experience, push the fact that you taught university and adult level conversation and writing classes.
