Both teams almost had a nasty brawl at the end of the game. Not sure who was the instigator.

It was about the only time Psycho ever showed emotion on the pitch. Can you tell me when he ever swung a punch at another player after having lost on a penalty shootout?

Germans are the model of civilized behaviour.

Yes, they have the moral high ground.

Excuse me.

Stuart Pearce = English. I didn't see a German player attack the other side.

Now I gotta watch the tape just to see the salute. I'm running out of teams to root for thanks to the stupidity of some of these characters on the pitch (oops. I think I'm turning British). I guess I'm also running out of teams to root for because they are gradually being eliminated. Doh!

I really can't believe a German sportsman in 2006 would give a seig heil on a World Cup pitch......probably a genetic reflex Laughing

A team that relies on a Pole and a Jew shouldn't try to invoke a racial purity salute.

Nationalism. racism, egoism... amazingly intertwined in noncognitive ways.
