While your post is funny, he's not that bad. He's not like Patchy (Australia) or Otis (America) or the a$$es from England or South America (can't think of them now, where is Jinju from?).

Lol, I feel so loved. Maybe I should run for office or something. Truth is I just like a good debate and I'm not afraid to be the devil's advocate when its needed. Truth is I think you would find me to be a very rational and smart individual if you knew me. There is one thing that doesn't get a pass and that's the Bush Crime Family. I know that they don't really reflect American values or many of the great Americans I have met and that I am friends with. Other than that I am willing to listen to any argument, even if it is wrong, and I have learned a few things along the way. Wink

I'm glad you took it as the joke that it was. Laughing

Scene: Beer hall in Berlin, 1934

Gunther: Gott darn it. My stand-up comedy routine just sucks. My mother-in-law jokes just are not cutting edge enough. What to do, what to do?
Heinrich: Hmmm...I know! Why not try anti-Semitic jokes?
Gunther: What a great idea! Pretend to be a bigot. That's always in because it's witty and always funny. Thanks a trillion deutschmarks.

Is that a reductio ad absurdum? Might as well poke friendly fun at Canadians, because it won't lead to them being thrown into furnaces?

I would agree the whole nationality-baiting thing is kinda tired, but no need to resort to hyperbole.

I believe that was a poke at OH, not a poke at poking fun of Canadians.

That's a shame it doesn't come across on these forums then.

I guess I didn't get your memo detailing the rules of posting. If you re-send it, I'll make sure I study it. Or should I submit my posts for your approval first?

I don't understand. You think should I comment on the logic or tone of your posts, it warrants a snide remark that suggests I want to police these forums? Or do you think you can make witty comments and remain completely unmolested in turn?

My suggestion is you roll with the punches.

Okay. I was having trouble deciding what that comment meant. My point still stands, hyperbole.
