Anyone know of any Polish or Ukranian restaurants in Seoul? I'm jonesin' for some PEROGIES! Done up right with chopped-up bacon, sauteed onions and lots of sour cream. |

did you know the largest perogie in the world is about an hour east of Edmonton? It is 20 or so feet tall, and the striking thing, is that, it looks like a part of the female anatomy. yes, that part. |

I heard that "Hunky Bill's Perogie House" is going to open up a franchise in Itaewon...
It's rumoured that if you do a Sher-Smoosh Ukranian dance in front of the restraunt you'll get a free meal... |

I'm ashamed to admit it, but when I first came to Korea, the guy who often translated for me throughout my first few weeks on the job said one day:
"We will eat the pulogie"
"Perogies? Koreans eat perogies?"
"Yes, purogi!"
Imagine my surprise when we sat down to eat bulgogi.
Actually, perhaps that should have been be mentioned in a thread of noob stories... |
