It depends on what you can negotiate. I'd set a high sum and go from there. If you can't agree on a price, then the perp. gets prosecuted. In my case (not with a school), the family agreed to 500,000 won. Then the mother called a few times after that crying and pleading to have mercy on them and couldn't they pay just 100,000 won or something? Well, on payday, the dude showed up at the police station with 400,000 won. Said he couldn't come up with the other 100,000 won. Hence, aim high, because it'll get bargained down, and you might not even get the agreed upon price. It's not a fun process... |
