What do you think? The Western media is really hyping it up. Will the job market be affected? Did the pickings just become better?

Well, I'm on my way over and I'm unaffected. I have a fair bit of faith the North is not bent on war and is reaching out for international attention. |

I'd guess that it wouldn't.
Either the teachers won't be politically aware enough to know that it's happening... or they'll realize that it's very unlikely that the North would want to start an all out war.
<shrug>
Just my two cents. |

Its not new like it was in 98 where the missle launch practically emptied the entire country of ESL dancing clowns. |

It should only scare off the ones stupid enough that they probably shouldn't be teachers in another country. |

I've had nightmares at night about this communist psychopath. I have been dreaming about a North Korean missle strike on South Korea, North Korean occupation of South Korea, and ESL Teachers getting thrown into Nazi type concentration camps. |

Have you noticed that while salaries are going up, hagwon and other places are expecting us to work longer hours? |

My neighbor mentioned to me yesterday how maybe Korea won't be a place with good conditions now. She must be believing media hype. |

Last i heard, NK has a total of 5 foreign ESL teachers, not to mention all the kidnapped war vets forced to dance as underground English clowns there since the 60's.
If they invaded, they could get a whole lot more. |

Ummmm...It was the collapse of the Won and the entire Korean economy that drove people out like they were rats on a sinking ship. I saw people with Birkenstock prints on the backs of their shirts from being trampled in the stampede to get to Kimpo. |

Excuse my one second of bitchiness here, but could we please stop spelling missiles as missles? |
