Does anyone know of a doctor in the southern part of the country that speaks english well? I'm having some strange symptoms right now, and I want to make sure the doctor understands what I'm saying. I also want to understand what he/she's telling me. I live in a fairly small town, and I haven't learned of any english speaking doctors nearby. Anywhere in the southern half of the country would be convenient enough for me. Any information will be very much appreciated. |

You don'y say where you are or what's wrong (understandable).
However, I know a Dr. fluent in English at Seoul Hospital in Changnyeong (Gyeongsangnam-do). He is a osteologist and was my Dr. last year when I broke my clavicle. We have become friends and 'hang' together.
PM me if you want. |

I live in a small town on the southern coast which is why I'm looking for a doctor in the southern part of the country. I know of a good doctor in Seoul, but since it is almost 5 hours away I'm hoping to find one a little closer.
I did do a search on this subject before I posted, but all of the hospitals listed in that thread are in or around Seoul.
I really do appreciate your (both of you) willingness to help.
Does anyone know of an english speaking doctor in the southern half of the country? If there is one in Busan, Daegu, or anywhere else down here that would be great. |

I've thought about that myself. I am sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. |

all korean doctors speak english! You'll be surprised how just well they do. if they have any trouble explaining stuff, they can always pull out their medical books and show you exactly what they mean.
just make sure you dont walk into a san bu in gwa! unless of course you have female problems! |
