Recruiter Code of Ethics:

Rule 1) Ethics bar the way to profit, never let something like morals and ethics get in the way of closing a deal.

Rule 2) Sunlight is bad for vampires.

No your avatar is indicative that tennis turns a normal man into a geeky white short wearing kiddie fiddler.

I was referring to the flame protruding out the tennis player's ass in lieu of where their code of ethics of have gone.

Just an idea, can we get back on the subject of posting about good recruiters. I agree their may not be many, but posting random stuff in this thread doesn't help those that need the information.

duff recruiting.where do i start.i went with him after he gave me the lowdown on other recruiters which impressed me as he said good things about them.did the usual, picked me up from the airport etc but also sorted me out with a good, honest job.he seriously vets the schools and has refused to recruit for a few that i know of.i know it's a one man show but if you want exclusive commitment to you instead of reputation by sheer volume then go with him.there are loads of recommendations on this board about duff.anyone needs the info on him pm me.

What's your definition of a decent recruiter? Many new teachers have the perception recruiters are honest and decent since they are making promises that lure them over to South Korea. Recruiters are making promises the employers are neglecting. Recruiters have been promising newbies that employers will provide good living conditions, they will teach certain grade levels according to their contracts, their boss will abide by the contract terms when asked, clean schools, being paid on time, bosses being easy to talk to, and bosses being easy to get along with. There have been numerous cases where newbies have severed their contracts early because employers have not followed through on promises made by recruiters. When all said and done, recruiters are aware of these conditions. They are vermin, liars, scum, puke, cheats, and grambastic pieces of amphibious sh$t.

Thanks Panchito, I sent you a pm requesting details, I also heard that Footprints are good, I'll be contacting them too. Come to think of it, I should get a hold of my Aussie and Kiwi friends, they were both happy with whoever they went with. Come to think of it, everyone I met in person who used a recruiter was doing fine. Maybe I should start making outrageous claims about the number of decent recruiters out there just to balance some of the opinions of those so eager to "cry wolf".

If I'm correct Footprints recruiting are based out of Vancuver B.C. It's not a good idea to sign on with a recruiter who's not even in Korea. That recruiter has no possible way of verifying the actual working conditions of the possible workplace. If there's a problem with your contract, then your Sh*t out of luck. How can they possibly help you from Vancouver British Columbia. Again, I could be wrong on Canada Location. I've only seen two examples of two/three good recruiters out of 592 forum members that have viewed this thread. What does that tell you? If there are more forum members that are willing to come forward about good recruiters then I most certainly stand corrected.
