Driving in to work this morning I saw seven small trees down. One was broken off, but the others were just blown over. It started raining here late Saturday afternoon and then all night and all Sunday morning. The ground is saturated, the creeks full. (It's been raining most days for the last two weeks.)

Sometime during the night it started raining again and is raining pretty hard now. I don't know where this new rain is supposed to go. The wind comes and goes. The maintainance man here at school says the typhoon will arrive this afternoon with a 'wild wind'.

So, how about the weather? Talking about. Talking about.

Actually, it's all pretty cool down here with violent winds pushing people around and sideways rain. I don't know how it does it but I swear that the tree outside should have had its leaves ripped off by now...

9 of the 15 orchid pots have blown over and shattered. The wind is now too strong to send the kids home. Looks like we're stuck here all day. (I was hoping school would be dismissed before it got dangerous.)

When I get home, if I get home, I'm expecting to find my motorcycle on its side in some nearby rice field. Looking out the window, I reckon it ain't gonna be rubber side down...

Its raining constantly here and the wind is starting to pick up a little . Nothing compared to what I have seen on the west coast according to the news but I think its going to totally miss us here in Pohang

It's been raining hard since last night and is really windy here in Daegu. I left my window open during the night and woke up to a small lake on my balcony floor. School wasn't cancelled but I think it should've been- the wind is pretty strong and the lights keep flickering. And now I have a broken umbrella and a wet butt Mad . I'm cranky.

It's raining, but not real hard, here in the southern suburbs of Seoul. It's very windy, though. I've some umbrellas blown inside-out, and the gardens on top of some of the buildings are taking a beating.

There's a bit of wind and rain here, nothing much. But they still called off classes. I'm wondering if it's going to get much worse or if the students just don't want to get out their rain coats? I've seen far, far worse storms back home.
