Saturday I went out drinking with a bunch of knobs and the biggest fattest stump in the group eventually started amusing himself by flicking beer bottle caps at various people around the table. He then challenged us to name targets around the room which, he claimed, he would be able to beam without effort. It turned out that the besotten, ugly bastard was such a poor shot he couldn't hit a thing he aimed at and just ended up almost putting out an eye in every innocent Korean bystander's head in the course of trying. In fact, the only thing he did successfully target was my face, which he pegged while I wasn't paying attention and then he had the balls to laugh about it. But hey, I'm a good sport and even though my cheek was a-smartin' and a-stingin' like a beyotch, I just smiled a little smile, picked up the bottle cap and placed it in my shirt's chest pocket while warning the smarmy bastard, "You will see this again." Now, I had no real intention of exacting some sort of cap-on-his-seat-watch-him-fly-to-the-sky-yelping sort of future revenge: it was just one of those situations where the best you can hope for is to escape with everyone saying "Well, I've been there too." rather than "What a freakin' tool..."; like when you trip over a crack in the sidewalk and quip "Have that removed." There's a fine line between looking temporarily like a mild-goober and being branded a complete schmuck for life, ya know?

Anyway, my washing machine blew up this weekend.

When I was 18 I sat on a couch and drank 12 12 oz. cans of beer without standing up or going to the bathroom.

20(?) Heineken cans between Narita and JFK.Could've got through more but the stewardesses were busy with duty free shoppers.

Can anyone remember how many Fosters David Boon chugged thru OZ-UK?

I remember seeing the footage of him being carried comatose off the plane.

chugged a bottle of soju on stage at my hagwon's christmas party to the awed, gasping delight of hundreds of fellow employees. That's "talent" and my director has loved me ever since. If you're going to be a dancing english monkey you might as well dance like a man I always say.

used to routinely bong a sixer of cheap beer, each can individually and in rapid succession, just to prime the pump before a night out.

don't get me started. . . :)

Bangkok/Sydney/Brisbane, 2004, 18 double scotch and drys with 18 tins of heineken. Ahh the days of the smoking flight.

Boon's record was 52 from memory, eclipsing that of Rod Marsh who set the bar high at 48.

Wow. A sports brag thread and now a drinking brag thread. If Jacl could just start a sexual conquest brag thread, we'd have the pathetic, mid-life crisis trifecta. "I remember when I drank a whole case a beer and a fifth of Wild Turkey. Shagged 4 girls that night and hit a homerun the next day despite having to be carried to the field. I sure was something I tells ya."

Hey, that's my story. Make up your own. Oh, and it was 4 cases, 2 fifths and a GRAND SLAM dammit; don't dilute the legacy with fabrications of underwhelming proportions.

A bottle of Chivas--and some Coors lite chasers.

A bottle of Bells--and some McCewans chasers.

That's all I can do.

Not bad, but I'm no legend.

However, it has to be Scotch. Bourbon knocks me on my butt.

Help is on the way, my nicotine-stained friend, someone has answered our prayers. Pray this gets up and I'll pay extra to fly this motherf#cker!

You must eat a lot of Kim-chi if you did that Smile

today I went to my City hall class. Taught 10 mins (first class) and the university paid for me and a Korean prof to get hammered. Free booze! top that!
