Man...these forums just can't resist cruelty. "It" is a girl, and while it is fun to be shallow, racist, and all the other "ists" and "isms," I think we have to say to ourselves - "what if this was my sister?" I don't care who she is, she has a friendly smile, she probably has some of those things people like to call "feelings," and she probably has never taught English in Korea. So I guess that automatically makes us cooler, right?

It says something about the level of maturity around here, doesn't it?

Does this sound like a good job you think?

"Professionals in the field of Family and Consumer Sciences are specialists who recognize the interrelationship of families with their near environments, and who integrate and synthesize information from across disciplines to empower families to be contributing members of society. The links below will tell you more about this exciting field. "

Daniel, Daniel - you've been holding out...The answer was there all along, right next to the pic, where you found it..

Ok, a girl. Her name is Karla. I swear I didn't know...I didn't see that section before.

Sorry for anyone who was offended by this thread, I was just honestly curious as to what people thought. I tried my darndest but I just couldn't work it out myself. It's one of those amazing almost completely 50/50 calls.

I don't believe you are sorry at all. I do think you are a profoundly naive, small minded, judgemental little man though...if you were genuinely unaware that people like that exist then that is frightening, and whatever the real reason was for your post ( I don't for a moment think you're an honest person ) the fact that you found this picture post-worthy is also truly frightening...

Ok, interesting opinion. The fact remains that I wasn't out to actually offend anyone by posting it, and if I did, I wish to apologize.

My reason for posting was that I was intrigued that I could stare at this picture without actually being able to discern whether she was male or female. I wanted to see whether other people had the same difficulties.

By the way, how do you know so much about me? ^^

It seems we have all been set up. Now, if the squirrel were wearing glasses, most, or all, of the posts on this thread would actually make sense. Except this one, maybe. I could always edit this one though.

The squirrel doesn't have any nuts so it must be female.
