Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anybody has travelled through SouthEast Asia with one way tickets and without a visa for each country. I am trying to fly to Singapore and Thailand on one way tickets to save some money. Please let me know if you have done it or if you know of anybody who had problems with it.
Thank you |

i do it all the time....no one cares...really the only countries that enforce those onward ticket or visa regulations are those in the west.
in SE Asia that I can think of, the only country that requires an onward ticket and is relatively enforced is the Philippines.
also Burma probably does but barring short one day hop kind of things into the place from Thai you're going to have an onward ticket anyhow, being that there's no other way to get out of there.
if ever a SE Asian airline gives you grief about this stuff ask for one of their waiver forms which absolves them of liability if immigration in the destination country decides you don't satisfy the entry requirements.
in any case don't stress. entering by land is always cool, by flight, usually the airline won't sell you a one way if they are going to enforce that you need a round trip. |
