Does anyone know where I can get some saffron and paprika in seoul? Or generally a nice place to get other spices? |

You shouldn't tease us all with such a tempting title . . . oh, wait, maybe that would be herb in Seoul? Is that what the kiddies are calling it nowadays? |

The ethnic gorcery stores in Itaewon and the Hannam Supermarket in Hannam are most likely to have saffron. You might also check the underground imports place in Namdaemun. Paprika is easy to find in these places too. The Red Door in Itaewon is another good place for spices, but more expensive than Namdaemun. |

thanks a bunch. As to the grocery store comment...its obvious that you have no idea about anything...
Also sorry about the attention grabbing title... |

I've always wanted to ask someone who uses Saffron: what does it do? I've had Saffron rice before, and all it did was color the rice a pleasant piss-yellow. |
