I mean really? 1.6. I don't think that's too bad.

well, in your next contact you should ask for 2.0. This is reasonable if you are qualified and have another year of experience.

1.6 is a bit low, but you are the one doing the work and if you are happy thats all that matters.

Good luck!

Unless you're getting 4+ months of paid holiday time a year that's totally unacceptable.

The lowest I know of was a person making 1.3 mil for a Christian hogwan of the same church he belonged to in the States. They still paid him late and even asked him to forgive two years of severance pay (which he did). After him they couldn't find anyone to take the job so they raised it to 1.8 for a quasi alcholic chain smoker who stayed for 4 months before doing a runner because of the poor housing.

I wonder that sometimes too! Next year, they said they cannot afford to pay me 1.6. Rather, they want to keep me so are offering a dinner and 1.5 next year. What should I do?

You have gotta be kidding. Either you are trolling for some reason (which doesn't make sense for you) or you are getting shafted. Leave!

Mr. laogaiguk hit the nail on the head.

I agree that you should leave. They are shafting you...although at least they have the courtesy to give you a dinner beforehand, though I think you should hold out for a movie too. Laughing

Joking aside you can do MUCH (and I do mean MUCH) better.

If, on the other hand you are trolling... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad
