Terminator 3 could have potential.
I saw some posters for it yesterday.
Yeah Arnie kind of sucks and most of his movies are crap but the other 2 Terminators were pretty good. In my opinion.

I don't know if you have it in Korea right now, but "28 Days Later" is terrific!!!

They won't get "28 Days Later" in a theatrical release in Korea. It was only out in limited release in Canada.

Hulk and T3 are very "bleah". I wouldn't say they suck but not exactly great.

If you wanna watch movies go to DVD Bang then you can watch whatever western movies you want as well as Korean movies because they'll put the english subtitles on for you.

Has anyone seen "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" yet? Was wondering if it's worth a look...

I enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean. I don't know when it'll be released in Korea though.

I know people that loved T3 as well. Could be worth checking out.

Pirates of the Caribbean is good fun. If it's still playing and you haven't seen it yet, Finding Nemo is the best movie of the year so far. 28 Days Later, a real shame if it's not going to Korea. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind- worth watching. As is T3 (I thought it was better than Matrix2). Hulk- didn't see, got turned off of superhero/comic flics after Daredevil. Rent Spirited Away if you can.

I can't believe anyone has seen this, considering how bad the first one was. Sure Angelina Jolie is a hottie, but come on...

Just thinking about seeing this movie will lower your IQ by at least 10-20 points.

saw it while in the US, it was OK. The interviews with people from "The Gong Show" were interesting (sad to see Gene Gene the Dancing Machine has no legs now)

It left out a lot of stuff about "The Gong Show" from the book which disappointed me. BTW I loved "The Gong Show" remember they did have an act make the big time Cheryl Lynn who was winner had a top 40 hit in the 70's.

Clooney was good along with the guy who played Barris.

Just don't believe Barris was a CIA killer.

BTW why is an Aussie interested in an American game show host? Very Happy

I saw T3 last night here in Korea. Man I loved it!!

There hasn't been a movie lately that has made me sit on the edge of my seat waiting for what's next.

Very cool movie. Especially the premise that machines and computers will cause Judgement Day.

Movies I've seen recently:

Bruce Almighty: This one goes to extremes of seriouisness and then laughter. The main theme of this movie is religion and God. Some seriouis discussions happen between God and Bruce. Jim Carrey does a lot of ad lib is this movie. The comedy is not as good as his others.

Charlie's Angels 2: A weak movie. Lot's of eye candy. Good stunts. Demi Moore's character doesn't get much screen time or story development until the end.

Matrix 2: The movie ends and you have to wait for Part 3. Cool graphics and stunts. Very complex and hard to follow sometimes. I got lost with the storyline.

HTH!

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I do think 28 days later is coming to Korea. Went to the theatre last night and saw a preview for it. Every other time I've seen a preview for a movie, it's come out.

Also, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is coming August 14, and someone already mentioned Pirates of the Carribean movie.

Tomb Raider II was really not that bad, but I usually go to be entertained, not to critique. Terminator 3 was also entertaining, but neither of the last 2 were extremely "thought provoking."

Hulk was not that great, and I was bored through parts of it. I usually don't get impatient with movies too often...maybe I had to go to the bathroom or something--can't remember now, just remember wanting it to get over.

I also go to be entertained, and am by now inurred to the fact that most movies these days take my hard-earned cash while insulting my intelligence, but Tomb Raider 2 was just too much.
