Can you tell me what each button is on this remote? I would like to rekindle the cool air me and my a/c once shared. Many thanks.

Oh. I have one of these in my office. I only use two buttons. The one on the bottom right turns it on, and the one to the left of the up arrow switches it into overdrive. That's all you need to know as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks. I am scared there is a problem with the actual a/c. When I first moved in the a/c was amazing. It got super cold and was great. Now, it just doesn't cool down my place at all.

I only got here a month ago and can't figure out what has changed. It seems like the a/c is more like a fan now. I even tried unplugging it to reset it, but that didn't seem to help. Any tips on fixing and/or making it cold again?

Hm. If I was in your position, I would consult the manual, but it would undoubtedly be in Korean. Given that, I would call for service.

It would not surprise me that a Korean durable good like an air conditioner or a fridge breaks down after 2 months of use. I'm convinced Koreans make two versions of every durable good. There's the export version, where they have to compete with Japanese and European models. And there's the domestic version where they take all the quality out because Koreans will simply buy Korean because it's made in Korea.

I think your best bet is to contact your school's whitey wrangler, tell them the a/c has broken down, and arrange repairman to come visit.

The middle right-hand side button is for moving the flap thingy up and down. The bottom left-hand side button translates as "selection of wind's quantity."
