And while it isn't strictly TPR, you can expand these lessons a bit by asking questions...

You can just ad lib it, it is better if you have pictures etc. so the students know what you are talking about. For example, if your lesson is vocabulary for the post office, it helps to have things like envelopes, stamps, boxes...(or pictures). |

| Oh that makes sense. When I taught elementary I only used TPR as a 5-10 minute warm-up. Do people actually use it for entire lessons? |

When I worked in Taiwan, TPR is ALL we were allowed to use. That was carrying a good thing WAY too far. |
