Yes, this was also posted on Dave's a few months ago. I'm not sure but I believe the student was awarded a full scholarship at a university for his bravery.

Isn't that kid looking where he's going before he takes the plunge?

Not only was he awarded a full scholarship but he was also one of the people who got to ring the bonshinjak bell during new years.

I thought mom's in Korea only left their female children unattended.

You know, so they can try again, make up for their "mistake".

Why did he go back the long route when the train was approaching?

Maybe he waited till the train had gone on ... Maybe I missed something.

I'm glad the kid's mom just stood there after he fell down. Damn... my mom would've been down there picking me up off those tracks, not waiting for some high school boy to save the day.

Probably because it's kind of hard to climb a 6-foot wall in a matter of seconds.

If was a close call.

That video made me so angry. First, kids shouldn't be allowed to walk around subway stations like that. So irresponsible. And what does the mum do when the kid falls down? Starts taking off her bags...wouldn't want to get those cheap fakes ruined, would you dear? Your kids blood maybe be pasted on the rail tracks but at least you still have what's really important to you.

Biaaaaaaaaaaaatch

he ran to the otherside becuase the train was coming on that side.. so he had to clear the child and himself from harms way! the teenager was correct.. all depends on how many seconds he had before the train was coming.. the bells might have already been ringing meaning there is like 5seconds before impact! so not enough time to throw him up so just clear yourself and the child from the tracks.. and of course it depends if the train is coming on the other side too.. then in that case you stay in the middle.. again no time to think.. just react and do it.. the TEENAGER in my book is a hero...

As a Stalker-of-Quinella, I would have risked my life for Him. Hell ya!

Thing is, no Quinella equals no fun on daves for me. ;)
