I am moving to Ansan in a week or so. Where are the foreigner hangouts there? I will be near Gojan station. |

When you say foreigners do you mean English teachers or English speakers? Ansan has many foreign groups who work in the industrial area in the west. Im not sure where the hang out.
For esl teachers, there are about 100 or more I think. There isnt really a hangout bar. Occasionally there is something going on in one of the western bars in Gojan, or Jungang areas. But you usually hear it from someone who knows someone. And hopefully the word spreads. Most esl'ers go to Seoul on the weekend, so these social events happen during the week.
The good thing about foreigners in Ansan is that the degrees of seperation is small. If you get to know some of them and you are somewhat social, then eventually over the course of a year, you'll eventually meet most of them. |

Head into yahoo groups and find the local mailing list there. goes by the name of wayguksinansan I believe.

I will be working in an elementary school close to Gojan station. My apartment is across the street from the WA Bar at Gojan. |
