I'm in Bangkok right now. It's cloudy, not so much rain and not too hot. The Euro tourists are slowly starting to flood in for their vacations.

Thailand is a big country.

Looking out my window in BKK right now - overcast - probably some light rain today.

Rainy season throughout the country - but much rainier down south - drier on the Gulf side than the Andaman Sea though. Up north - roughly similar weather to BKK.

i'm off to thailand on monday for a couple of weeks, so i'm glad to see that the weather isn't too oppressive and humid... after checking some weather sites it seems the humidity is the same as korea's, and i coped with that so i reckon i can handle it.. right?
we're heading down to ko pang nan (sp?) from bangkok, any expert opinion on the conditions down there?

Samui and that area should be fine, was there last week and it was pretty good. maybe an afternoon shower but over the 2 weeks I was there they were few and far between. mostly partly cloudy days with a few buildups which may lead to a shower or t-storm.

wind was up out of the SW so be careful of that. for the rainy season that part of thailand is pretty nice
