Hours of fun. I never thought Christianity could be this entertaining. |

I work at a Christian school, and the sad thing is, is that I can use this with my students.
Well, not sad really, less prep work for me.... |

That site is awesome. It's a good reference for some of the weirder, more obscure lessons of the Bible. |

It is a strange, strange website. I'm not sure yet whether it's teaching or mocking Christianity. But it's entertaining anyway!

From the FAQ:
"9. Is he really a reverend?
Most ministers, priests, or other religious clerics would not actually use "The Reverend" before their own names, for to do so would be presumptuous and rather vain. The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith is not an ordained member of any earthly church, and is widely regarded as being both highly presumptuous and extremely vain." |

I'd wager a six-pack that you've never tried. The new testament is not difficult, and if you are a well-read person, you will be amazed at how much of the bible is in our every-day expressions, and even in the lyrics of rock songs. But I think many people who may be anti-christian or don't like the idea of it, have never read the bible. Just as a work of literature, if you are an educated person, it bears at least a browsing. |

Judging by the selection of Bible passages, it's obviously deriding it.
Mithridates, the best translation of the Bible is the "Wicked Bible" or "Adulterous Bible" of 1632. In the list of commandments, it left out a "not," and commanded: "Thou shalt commit adultery."
