Has anyone gone through the Access South Korea Now recuiter out of Canada? It's ASKnow.com.

Just wondering? I am thinking of using them this time around.

Thanks

I would suggest looking at this website:

I've been in contact with them over the past month or so. Offered one job in the past three weeks. Really nice guys, and definitely trustworthy as far as I'm concerned, just not that quick.

I would go with a more well known recruiter such as worknplay, footprints, duff recruiting, or atc. These agencies have access to more jobs. Do stay away from Longbridge Pacific though!

I have looked through the footprints website and it just seemed like there were a lot of hoops to jump through to work with them, and then they had all these positions available but you couldn't look/apply for them unless you were an alumni member. I haven't heard of worknplay or duff before. The first time I was in S. Korea I went through Asiajobs co. which sucked royally the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. So I liked the way the website was set up for ASKnow so I figured give them a shot. I also sent some information/inquiry off to ESL4Korea. Are they any good?

yeah I've noticed that about them that they are a little slow. I am now waiting for the confirmation email for the initial phone interview. Rolling Eyes

I couldn't find any viable links on that site....the hagwon.com link didn't work and the one regarding the blacklists was broken. Is there any other link that I could find information regarding recruiter's reputations. I have seen some links within this board but it was mainly when someone had a problem. So is this a case of no news is good news?

On the elf link I gave you there are some tough questions I think people who are thinking about coming over to South Korea ought to ask recruiters. They are good ones too. I don't know of any links regarding recruiters reputations. You can post another topic in this forum, "What are your thoughts on such and such recruiter...." That's one way to go about it.

yeah I've been to S. Korea before to teach, I was there in 2002-2003 then I came home did some bs classes at the JC finally decided to go to grad school and have decided to go back. I want to see my friend and her new babies Very Happy So I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything bad about this particular recruiter or had worked with them. Thanks for the suggestions.
