Yes. Teaching is a physically lazy job and you'll put on a bunch of weight (like me) if you don't.

Every single gym in my city is closed on Sundays. How I wish there was one open, as that is my most free day. Damn missionaries.

My gym in Seoul in Cheonho is open Sundays. 9-6.
Pretty good hours I think. Went to the gym this morning. ^^

Gym owners must be real cheapskates not to open on Sundays. It's not like they're paying tons of money to the few employees it takes to run a gym. But they sure do charge a fortune to us. The average gym membership runs 50,000 ~ 100,000 won a month. Rip-off! Evil or Very Mad

:O This is not good news. I take it the concept of a 24/7 gym hasn't reached Korea, yet?

I have seen a few gyms that say 24 hours. That would be pretty cool. I think the gym culture is catching on here so I am sure it won't be long until we have "Korean extreme gyms". I'll say one thing about Koreans. They never do anything half-@ssed. Maybe combination gym/jimjilbang/kalbi restaurants open 24/7. Wink

I'm waiting for spinning classes to kick off. Back home me and my brother would go to these classes ( a bunch of stationary bikes in a room with the instructor on a platform and some mad tunes blasting) 3 times a week, it was our regular sunday evening workout, guaranteed to blast the booze out of your system. Those classes were the best cardiovascular workouts in a group setting i've done.
