|

Well, it's time to do the Thailand run again. Have any of you done the same with your KB debit card and had success withdrawing money out of your account here in Korea? (I suspect the answer is yes, because the card has the Cirrus symbol on the back, and I know that times have changed a lot since my first time in Thailand six years ago - ATM machines are much more prevalent and international-card-friendly than ever before.)
Replies will be appreciated. |

I had a KB card recently that worked fine in both the Philippines and Hawaii. Unfortunately I lost the card in Hawaii.
Now I'm back in Korea, went and replaced it, and they said that the new one won't work abroad. I'll be travelling again in late August, so we'll see. |

You won't have a problem with your KB card in Thailand. |

Thanks. I suspected I wouldn't. |

My Korean international card only worked during Korean banking hours while I was in Thailand. Freaked me out. |
