I rescued him on Thursday he was about to run on to the road. He doesn't belong to anyone as far as I know. I asked all the shopkeepers and restaurant owners in the area and they all said he had no home. I'm going overseas on holiday next Staurday for three weeks. I have already fallen in love with him but realistically I'm not home enough to have a dog. I definintely won't be putting him back on the street as my co-workers suggested but I'm hoping there is someone who can give him a better home than I can. Someone who has a bit more time available etc. Please pm me asap. Thanks.

And idea.
If your place is a decent size, just get him a buddy.
If you can spend half an hour a day with them that'll be enough. They'll play with each other will you're not around. |

Ye that's an idea except that the main reason I didn't go out and get a puppy when I got here is that I have no idea what I will be doing next year. If I go home to NZ, yes I could take him but I may go back to my old job which involves being at sea for 5 weeks at a time (no you can't take dogs on fishing boats, even if they are small). I may stay another year in Korea or possibly go to London to do the working holiday visa. So I decide I wouldn't get a dog until I was settled down with a 'normal' job and not planning on travelling for years at a time. |

Where are you located? I have a pup already... Just got him off the street as well... I would love to take him, but we are traveling a little more then I thought we would be... What are you going to do with him if you dont find him a home? Are you going to put him in a kennel while you are on vaykay? |

Don't know what type of dog he is. Looks like he has got a new home. I am bringing him to Seoul on Saturday and meeting the new owner when I change buses to go to Incheon airport. Hopefully he turns up, otherwise I'm a bit stuffed as my flight leaves at 2325hrs. Does anyone know if you are allowed to take puppies on the bus? Will they make me put him underneth in the baggage area? Is it ok for animals to travel down there? I don't know how he'll be on a bus trip. RJS0150 I'll put you down as second on the list if this guy doesn't turn up. I live in Gongju. |

How far are you going to have to travel with him on the bus? Do you have a carrier? If you have a carrier, then they will probably let you. He looks pretty small. You can pick up a soft sided carrier that looks more like a purse at most pet stores. They probably won't let you have him on the bus running loose. We have had our dog on the bus a couple times. They make us put her underneath, but thats when she is in one o those giant airplane kennels. So, its kind of understandable. It would take up like two seats. |

I am also very interested. If no-one wants him I would not mind to take him. I have a dog thats got one foot in the grave already, all he does is eat and sleep. Maybe this young pup would be a nice change for me. (The other dog is my wifes in case you are wondering. ) |

We brought our two cats on the bus from the airport and nobody said anything about it. They were each in their own carrier and they sat next to our feet. It really should not be a problem. Good luck! |

He sure is. He's a bit of a staunch little dude as well. The only time i have heard him bark is when I brush my teeth... not sure what's up with that. He also has a fast forward mode where he goes crazy running around the room until he either wipes out on the floor or manages to run into something... then it's cuddle time. Wish I could keep him but it's not fair on him with me being out of the house so much and it's not cheap to take a dog to NZ. You have to get them microchipped , rabbbies shots and blood tests to prove the rabies shot etc etc etc. |
