Does anyone know where I could get a pal vhs tape converted to ntsc?
Is it a job for Yongsan, or would most local outlets have that capability?
Thanks. |

You need a special VCR for this. I remember we used to have an old Panasonic machine where I worked that converted for customers. It cost around $4000 20 years ago and we charged $40 per copy.
The machine needs a dual NTSC/PAL tuner to do this, and its not too many of them around anymore. So yeah, Yongsan would be your best bet. I will look around when I go out shopping for some speakers later today, see if anyone is advertising it. |

| There are also a number of shops around town that offer conversion services. I noticed that 7-11 outsources to convert VHS to DVD. You may want to check with your local branch and see if they offer pal to ntsc as well. |
