The one about how Japanese view Koreans. It had some great conversation and some excellent points were made on both sides.

I was hoping to use some of the ideas from the thread, but now it's gone.

Why?

Jaebea,
That is the second thread (a re-post). Endo is referring to the first thread on the subject. It was deleted or moved.

I dunno. I didn't think it had anything objectionable. I mentioned Korean war crimes in Vietnam. Perhaps that set off alarm bells or something. Confused

We got ganked. Nobody's saying why, and they even deleted a question thread like this one asking about why it was deleted for no apparent reason. Again no answer. And they'll surely delete this one too next... leaving no answers. What a waste.

I would like to hear an explanation from a mod, because seriously guys, it was a really good thread.

How does it get deleted when threads like:

Questions About Korean Girls

Korea Ranks 5th in Female Homicides

Laws Regarding Rape in Korea: Shocking

Korean girls (yes I know....another damn thread)

are still on this board.

Hey, what happened to the thread asking about what happened to the thread? That was a good one, too. Evil or Very Mad

The highlighted one was removed. Twice. I disagree with its removal because foreigners, especially women, need to know that Korea is not as safe as some people *cough*Koreans*cough* might lead them to believe. The most disturbing is the fact that there is a marked increase in the number of serial killings of women. South Korea used to be a relatively serial-killer-free zone (the incident described in the Korean movie "Memories of Murder" notwithstanding). I guess that's changed --for the worse. And people, especially women, should be aware of that, given that the English-language media in Korea never informs the expatriate community about serial rapists, killers, etc., until after they have been caught. Witness the serial rapist of 50 recently --not a word about him until after he was in custody.

Edit:

It looks like said thread has been un-removed, for which I am grateful.
