Yes, the magical situp...you have to do it. Anyhow, I'm wondering how many/per day. I'm not hardcore about it...I only do 200 per day. I'd like to get to 500. Anyhow, I'm fucking ripped in the middle. How many do you do?

501. The first 500 are for my girlfriend and that last one's just for me.

Doesn't that hurt your back? I really hate situps. My weight bench has a strap where I can lock my feet into place for situps, but my back was killing me after about 20.

So I've been doing crunches, now that I started working out again. Also, I'm doing leg lefts, which is where you lie on the floor and alternate raising your feet up. That's a killer move.

My most intense ab workout in several years was on Sunday morning. Today, Wednesday, I've still not fully recovered. I can do about 7,000 crunches, btw.

Screw situps. Bad for your back and dont target the right areas if you ever watched Tony Littles target training Laughing

Its all about the crunchies. I can do 1000 in the blink of an eye.

I do a minimum of four types every night, with a minute and a bit for each.

I'm probably closer to 21 or so, since I like to lie down on the sofa when I watch DVDs/tv. Sitting up is such a pain in the ass.

I prefer to build up my abs with a typical martial art exercises.

One of my favourites is standing at the front of a line (of people) and having each person punch you in the stomach about 10-20 times while you flex and exhale in time with the blow to defend yourself.

Way better than situps/cruches in my opinion.

You are always first at rochenbro (I don't know how to spell it, but Cartmen on South Park plays it all the time).

I do 2 situps a day. One in the morning when I sit up to get out of bed. The other when I situp from my nap. This has worked wonders for me. I don't have any of that pesky flat stomache stuff happening. Very Happy

The word "Roshambo" (Rochambeau) is actually another way of saying rock, paper, scissors. However, Cartman's concept of Roshambo is for him and Pip to take turns kicking each other in the nuts as hard as they can, until one of them falls over, and whoever was left standing wins.

If you want ripped abs, its propbably best to control diet. And get good genes from your parents.

Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym (Ancient Shilla Dynasty proverb).
