Shocked

Im full blooded Korean by birth, but was born and raised in the USA. I assume that I am eligible for a F-4 Visa since my parents are also American citizens, but I will be entering Korea on an E-2 Visa sponsored by my employer. Unfortunately, I dont have any family in Korea anymore so I have no way of getting my family registry papers sent to me in the USA. I plan on applying for a F-4 visa once I get into Korea, but will I be able to hold an E-2 Visa and a F-4 visa at the same time? Do I need to ask my employer for sponsorship of a F-4 Visa? Also, should I apply for my ARC after getting a F-4 Visa or do I apply with the E-2? Sorry if this question has been answered before, but I am a little lost on the whole Visa/ARC issue. Thanks for any help!

the people at immigration are pretty damn anal retentive about the whole family registry... your f-4 visa will replace the e-2 visa. you'll get the arc at the same time as your visa.

You can only have one Visa at a time, so you give up your E2 Visa when you get the F4 Visa.

When you get the F4 Visa it will be printed on your ARC card.
