I think it has nothing to do with women in the Isreal military and more of historial riff.

Historical, even.
The roles of women in society is a cultural difference,
and it would be safe to say certainly some Arabs hate Israelis for some of their cultural differences...
But women in the military, it did blow me away the first time I saw it, because it was 2 cuties at a bus stop in Jerusalem.
It looked like they were going out on the town, they had on make-up, nail polish- but they were still in fatigues and had rifles slung over their backs... |
